Trichinella nativa
The freeze-resistant arctic Trichinella, carried by walrus, seal, bear and dog and taken by people from their meat.
The book never names it; it is one candidate for iteˊyun — the nervous disease of 1-064 that Bogoras calls “akin to epilepsy”, an identification left unresolved there. Described as a species in 1972, long after Bogoras.
