The bay Bogoras uses, with Kresta Bay, as the western and southern limits of the Chukchi Peninsula (1-047). The village Kolyuchin "is situated on the small island some distance away from the narrow mouth of the bay" (1-048) — Bogoras names the island nowhere, so it has no entry here.
