Čeˊnlin
A settlement that had already gone when Bogoras passed: "Between Aˊčon and Wuteˊen, in former times, there was a small settlement, Čeˊnlin, occupied by the Wuteˊelɪt and the Chukchee. The greater part of its inhabitants, however, perished in the famine of 1880. The remainder turned to reindeer-breeding or emigrated to Wuteˊen and to St. Lawrence Island" (1-051). The Wuteˊelɪt are the people of Wuteˊen, which is Sirenik.
The exact placement is uncertain. The coordinate above is the editor's, set about halfway between Achchen and Sirenik, which is the whole of what the text says about where it stood. Bogoras only; the village is gone and no chart names it.
