Penkigney Bay
Бухта Пенкигней, on the south side of the Chukchi Peninsula. Named once, at 1-044, where Bogdanovitch reports "good grass on the mountain-slopes around Konyam Bay".
"Konyam Bay" is Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld's own rendering, given to the bay during the Vega's passage and carried into English from there — which is why it appears on no Russian map and why the gazetteers are silent on it.
