Ostrovnoye

The Anui fair. Held at irregular intervals "sometimes on the Dry Anui, near Mount Obrom, and at a place called Ostrovnoye … sometimes on the Large Anui, near the mouth of its affluent, the Angarka. Finally Ostrovnoye prevailed, because the Chukchee were more numerous on the Dry Anui" (1-078). The book glosses the name "Insular".

Filed on the Dry Anui, which is Maliy Anyuy: 1-078 opposes it to the Large Anui, and this village's coordinate sits inside the Maliy's basin.
